If you use Tumblr, please take a minute to fill out Amit’s unofficial survey.  He’s going to share the results with everyone in a week or two.

What I would really like to know is how many people started tumblelogs because they wanted to follow Ryan Adams (basically a marketing question; how many users were influenced to try it out by this one individual), and was there a significant number of tumblrs who left/deactivated their accounts when it became clear he was gone for good.

Also I have no idea how many tumblrs (individuals, not accounts) there are in total and I wonder if that is a secret. I’m curious about that, too.

I have to admit, I started a tumblelog so I could follow Ryan Adams more easily. I hadn’t actually heard of tumblr before someone linked me to his log. And then I noticed that other people like Travis McCoy had them, too, so I was totally sold on the concept.

This should totally be a question on the survey.
